-legs sometimes break because they get so heavy

-newborn male chicks are ground up alive

-veterinary care is not a requirement no matter how severe an infection or injury is. These birds are left to suffer instead of being put to sleep because companies can still make a profit if the bird can survive up until slaughtering time

-their beaks are cut off right after they are born to prevent fighting. their beaks are filled with nerve endings. This would be the equivalent of someone cutting off your lips

-did i mention that chicks were ground alive

-and that this is perfectly legal because the death is “instantanious”

-look at your ipad. that is how much space there is required per chicken.

-some chickens have never walked in their entire lives because they have no space

-chickens on factory farms never get to see the sun because they produce more eggs under artificial light

-they literally never get to feel anything under their feet other than wire caging.

-did i mention that those ground up chicks from before are fed to other chickens. Screw proper nutrition!

Regardless of weather or not you think eating meat is moral, can we please all agree that NONE OF THIS should be legal?!
